You whispered, "God, speak to me"
And a bird sang. But you did not hear.
So you yelled, "God, speak to me!"
And the thunder rolled across the sky
But you did not listen.
You looked around and said,"God let me see you"
and a star shone brightly But you did not notice
And you shouted,"God show me a miracle!"
And a life was born but you did not know.
So you cried out in despair,
"Touch me God, and let me know you are here!"
Whereupon God reached down
And touched you.
But you brushed the butterfly away
And walked away unknowingly.
Why search for Him so far
When He is, Oh! so near
God is everywhere,
He is in every creation of His
If only you can look well
You'll see Him around you
You'll here Him speak every time
You'll feel his touch in the wind that caresses you skin
You can smell him through that beautiful flower
He is in that delicious meal you ate
So any time that you need God
Just look, feel, smell, taste and hear him around you
He is always there - The Omnipresent one.
