Sorsop (Annona Muricata)
The soursop tree is an evergreen tree with a green, large ovoid and pulpy fruit. It is known by different names in different languages: Guanabana in Spainish, Carrosol in French etc. The fruit is actually a native of tropical America. When ripe, the fruit is soft and bruises easily. The skin is thin and the pulp is soft, purple and white and has many black seeds. Soursop has a pleasant smell. |
