The Winner
I was watching some little kids play soccer. These kids were only five
or six years old, but they were playing a real game - a serious game - two
teams, complete with coaches, uniforms, and parents. I didn't know any
of them, so I was able to enjoy the game without the distraction of being
anxious about winning or losing - I wished the parents and coaches could
have done the same.

The Blue Ribbon
A teacher in New York decided
to honor each of her Seniors in high school by telling them the difference
they each made. She called each student to the front of the class, one at
a time. First she told each of them how they had made a difference to her
and the class. Then she presented each of them with a blue ribbon imprinted
with old letters, which read, "Who I Am Makes a Difference."

too. I know I'm not the first or only person who has seen it. But there is
